Vineyard Youth Tennis introduces the children of Martha’s Vineyard to the sport of tennis by providing free tennis lessons and court time at its own purpose-built tennis facility. A staff of trained tennis pros teaches tennis to children who reside year round on the island from first grade through high school, at every level, year round. The purpose of this charitable organization is to make tennis a “life sport” for kids by providing expert professional instruction, and to teach the values of sportsmanship, healthy competition, and mutual respect.

If there are 3 – 5th graders or 6th – 8th graders who would like to squeeze in an extra day of tennis into their busy schedules, there are openings in the following classes:

3rd – 5th grade

Tuesday / Friday 5:30 – 6:30

or

6th – 8th grade

Monday / Thursday 5:30 – 6:30

or

Wednesday 5:30 / Saturday 12:00

You can come to one extra day of a class or both, but need to commit to at least the one extra day for the rest of the session. Any questions, just ask!
